The Perelli mat system was developed to provide better target utilization and easier pull than old fashioned round mats. The Perelli Mat utilizes a unique tongue and groove block system which allows all sections of the mat to be interchanged allowing full use of all sections of the target mat. In addition the rectangular design provides 30% more shooting surface than round mats and reduces concern over lost arrows when shooting 4 target faces per mat. The individual blocks use the BIGShot Elasto-Flex signature foam to heal quickly shot after shot and reduce fatigue from pulling arrows.

I didn’t expect the target to be as heavy as it was. If it lives up to two finger bolt removal I’ll be ok with it. My other target weighs less than half but needs a special bolt removal tool and a lot of strength. Didn’t like shooting as much as I should have with that one.
My 500+ FPS crossbow bolts are very easy to pull out. Only time the bolt snags is if field point unscrews on impact and gets caught on the outer cover. Very easy to remove even if it does this though. Outer case seems to be stapled together very well and perimeter shots don’t over penetrate.
